9/12/06 We are proud to announce our second release:
In April of 2005, Dead Men's Hollow released their debut CD, "Forever True", on Acoustic Americana. That debut CD gained national airplay and in February of 2006 earned two Washington Area Music Association Awards—Wammies—for Best Bluegrass Recording and Best Debut Recording (across all genres). The group won a third Wammie for Best Bluegrass Duo/Group.
In March of 2006, Dead Men's Hollow stepped back into the studio to record their second CD, "Two-Timin'". This Washington, DC sextet has expanded their repertoire beyond old-time country, bluegrass, southern gospel, fiddle tunes and country blues. On their new CD listeners will hear western swing, a capella, honky tonk and even a baroque lullaby.

4/6/05 Our debut release:
"Forever True", the first full-length CD by Dead Men's Hollow, mixes secular and sacred American traditionals with a generous twist of witty originals. The music is flavored in equal measure by old-time, bluegrass, southern gospel, and country blues led by sublime three-part female harmonies coupled to fiddle, flat-top guitar, and upright bass. The resulting sound complements the national interest in traditional acoustic American music most demonstrably proven by phenomenal sales of the "O Brother ..." soundtrack.
